The iPad 2, announced on March 2nd, 2011, and available on March 11th, is a modest but still significant upgrade to the original iPad. A slimmer form factor (only a third of an inch thick), a new and faster “A5″ processor, and dual cameras form the main improvements.
 


Ever since the iPad 2 launched, getting your hands on one hasn’t been easy — some resorted topaying outrageous prices on eBay. After huge sales during launch weekend, Apple began topush back estimated shipping dates to 2-3 weeks before finally leveling out at 4-5 weeks. Now, Apple has moved up the shipping dates one week to 3-4 weeks.
